Darrel I looked on the OBRC site and there are three Mag Hummer reports
that were not accepted. The first one is from Saunders Lake in 1972 and was
the albino bird you mention. The OBRC record said the video of the bird
wasn't good enough to ID it to species? Perhaps some of our old timers
(that is old more mature birders) remember this bird?
Hot here- still 80F in N Bend at airport (down from close to 90 earlier),
98 in Myrtle Point last I heard. Flying ants and dragonflies everywhere.
Briefly out in the sweltering heat at N Spit noontime but just more Yellow
Warblers and rumps.
