In 2015 the Coos count hit 163, tied for our 2nd highest ever, and it was
cool that Yaquina bested 150. I think having a good CBC count comes down to
organization. However, there are many compilers who really aren't focused
on getting high species numbers and just want to have a good time and
aren't concerned about numbers. Personally I like having a well organized
count (that means having owlers out and about and a well planned post count
dinner/ countdown). To each his/her own.
And I know Dawn- great to hear she is doing a great job on the CBC up your
way Darrel!

Tim Rodenkirk for bringing passion and a resultant higher species count at
the Sauvie Island and Coos Bay CBC's respectively. Someone needs to add
Dawn Harris to the list for her work with the Yaquina Bay CBC. Before she
