Hi Hendrik & all,
Sorry, I can't resist picking up on that subject heading, though it's
hard to think of an ... um, tasteful reply.
But this is just about the same time of year when a birder reportedly
had a different kind of four-gulp morning at the Philomath sewage ponds,

Hello all,
A large flock of swallows swirling over the Philomath Sewage Ponds today
contained about 70 TREE, 10 VIOLET-GREEN, 4 BARN and at least one early
CLIFF SWALLOW.
Other than that, it was business as usual at the ponds, with no discernible
turnover detected among the ducks.
Happy Spring Migration
