We see them all months of the year here. No more than a few and not all of each
month, save summer when there are several and often seen.
We are south of Milwaukie, North of Gladstone along the Wilammette and a wooded
area.

Sorry, another perhaps basic birding question here. Are band-tailed
pigeons common around Portland in winter? Our sources claim that their
winter range is much further south... I ask because we have a picture of
one from Koll Center Wetlands in Beaverton, taken yesterday.
