As previously reported by Jeff Gilligan, yesterday at about 1:30 p.m. I saw a
Gray Catbird about 50 yards west of mp 139 on Oregon highway 218. This spot is
about 4 miles west of Fossil. Good catbird habitat in the spot.
12 Tundra Swans on Condon sewage ponds.
This afternoon, a road-killed Barred Owl along I-84 somewhere near Morrow.
Lots of geese and ducks on the Columbia River now. I only stopped once to check
a large flock of geese, which included some white birds. Gulls.
