I had the typical flocks of 40-50 AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES at the feeders back in
September and early October, but very few since. I have occasional small flocks
of LESSERS, maybe every 10 days or so. SISKINS numbers have also fallen to
near-nil over the past couple of months.
As I type this my first-of-the-season PURPLE FINCH is at one of my sunflower
feeders.
