Hi Linda well that's a shame that I didn't see you; we didn't meet each
other or figure out. I thought I had asked you if you were going to go, but
I think your answer was no; so glad you got to go; thought it was really
important with the emphasis on women's contributions in birding from Ken
Kauffmann and as well his observation of behavior.More of our folks should
have been there.This was my 4th time. I carpooled going down with SAS board
members,but I usually do not sit way in the front like they did and I like
to mix, it's an opportunity to do that so I was with Portland and Eugene
birders. Then at the break for lunch I wandered to the Corvallis table and
sat with Laura my friend who just got back from Panama and also at the
table was Duncan from Malheur and it's always an education to listen to him.
