The Wednesday morning group headed out to east Alton Baker Park for a
cool bit of birding- no rain as of yet. The small birds were not abundant but
eventually productive as we found a good assortment by late morning. Birds seen:

Wood Duck- checking out nest boxes

Common Merganser
Ring-necked Pheasant- several males only
