I visited the Sheridan sewage ponds this afternoon. I found:

2-3 WESTERN GREBES -- first of annual visitors

14 Eared Grebes

7 Canada Geese

60 Mallard

1 American Wigeon

5 Pintail

1580 Shovelers

9 Green-winged Teal

10 Ringneck

22 Lesser Scaup

1 Redhead

1 SURF SCONTER -female, first of annual visitors

9 Bufflehead

10 Hooded Merganser

83 Ruddy Duck

408 Coot

29 Killdeer

4 Dunlin

11 Long-billed Dowitcher

5 Wilson's Snipe

1 Kingfisher

1 Kestrel

2 Brewer's Blackbird
