Hello All,
We have swifts roosting in our chimney tonight! They can be heard twittering
away every few minutes from the living room fireplace. Don't know how many,
sounds like a few. They roasted here only one other night (as far as we know)
the exact same time last year. I saw three go into the chimney in the
mid-afternoon during this same time last year, but it didn't seem like they
roosted in there that night. We've never used the fireplace in the 12 years
we've been in this house. We're happy the swifts are making use of it, and hope
they'll come back more often!
