P.S. as I recall, Windy gets its images from a model or variety of models
not from actual measurements. Is that correct?

The marine buoy at 46.134 N 131.079 W recorded a record setting (for
this part of the Pacific) low pressure of 942.6-mbars at 10:00hrs this
morning. The worst of the energy is aimed at Vancouver Island, but the
weather professionals are still calling for 65 mph gusts on beaches and
headlands all along the coast. And there's still a good chance of an
atmospheric River event Weds/Thurs.
