The Patagonia rest area south of Tucson Az became the coinage of a name for a
place where birders went looking for such and such a rare bird, only to find a
different one. Blueberry Rd seems to have, at least temporarily, become
similar. First, someone finds a snow bunting, then someone finds a Lapland
Longspur while looking for the bunting. Then someone finds a chestnut collared
Longspur looking for the former. And others find clay colored sparrow and
American white pelicans nearby. Any predictions about what will be seen next?
Gyrfalcon? Lots of wide open spaces to scan over....
