Dear Christopher,

BOGR gives the high count for the spring as 8 birds seen near Banks, Washington
Co. in the last week of April 1984 and the high count for the fall as 6 birds
at Malheur NWR on 17 Aug 1977. So 10 birds at the same location seems to be a
new record.

Sincerely,

Tim Janzen

This morning Adrian and I saw at least 10, maybe 11 Solitary Sandpipers at
Sunset Park in Corvallis. Over the past week there have regularly been five to
six, and last night there were seven.

Seem like a lot; has anyone seen this many in Oregon before?

Lots of Greater White-fronted Geese going over.

Good birding,

Christopher Hinkle
