SE corner at the viewing platform. 20 or so yards east of there I heard a
Phoebe like call but never could locate bird until 10 minutes later call heard
again and a Swamp Sparrow popped up. I'm not sure if this is the same area as
one being reported a week or two ago but chip can be heard from a good
distance.
Fox Sparrows showed up this week as well sometime between Sunday afternoon and
Tuesday morning. Buffleheads and wigeons have arrived this week as well. The
ponds are starting to fill.
