Susan Boac, Nick Baisley and myself made a lunch break run out to
successfully find the BLACK-NECKED STILT (about 1/2 mile south of L & C
River Bridge) reported by Mike Patterson. It was not alone - also present
was a SOLITARY SANDPIPER along with about 4 GREATER YELLOWLEGS and 20 or so
LEAST SANDPIPERS. All were feeding in the puddles/flooded field just west
of Business Loop Hwy 101.
Gorgeous bird!
