Floyd et al,
I saw the first 2 Siskins in many months at our feeders on Oct 5. They were up
to 9 on Oct 16. Today I counted 22.

Subject: [YamhillBirders] Siskins and Crossbills
On Friday I found large flocks of both Pine Siskins and Red Crossbills on
Cascade Head (Tillamook County) coming down to a small creek at one of the
bridges. The Siskins also seemed to be attracted to the Elderberry bushes/trees
growing along the trail, but I couldn't be certain they were feeding on the
berries.
I've been seeing a few Siskins in McMinnville for the past two weeks, also.
