Fair enough Harv, but your assertion that "Malheur and the birds will still be
there when all is said and done" is certainly in question. Many of the
breeding habitats at Malheur National Wildlife Refuge exist only because of
management of water into and out of ponds and fields, as well as other actions,
by refuge staff.
None of this critical refuge management is being attended to at this time and
it will not be attended to by refuge personnel as long as the criminal
activities of the Malheur Conspirators continue.
If the refuge management regime is not successfully implemented, many thousands
of birds will be displaced because their breeding habitat from prior years does
not exist.
