Yesterday there was an osprey on a nesting platform at about the 5 mile
marker on Sauvie Island road. This morning, a turkey vulture was also seen
along SI Road. A barred owl was seen in a grove of trees on Burlington
Court on the Island 2 days ago. Still lots of cacklers on the Island;
seems like an increase in the number of sandhill cranes, too.
