I spent the morning roaming the wetlands around the South Jetty ponds,
including all the places where one has to put on one's boots and leave
sight of the parking lot to get to. Many of these would have had
standing water by now in a normal year. They were dry this morning.
They were all unencumbered by the presence of snipe of any form or any
other shorebirds.

There were lots of chickadees and kinglets and yellow-rumps, however.

The ROCK WREN continues at the jetty. 10 LAPLAND LONSPURS on the flats.
