Pretty darn early if you ask me? When do you typically see the first Rufous
at your place? Our earliest records on the south coast (Coos County
anyhow) is around the 27th of January but that was a single and just one
year. Most years no Rufous until the first or second week in February. I
would double check on the e-Bird report, I have inexperienced bird
watchers tell me their Anna's are Rufous all the time during the winter
here.
