After not finding the Red-naped since last seen on Jan 1, today I found it
further to the west of previous observations on the south side of the same
public trail. It was just south of the trail intersection where the
feeder trail drops down from the corner of Stellar and Saltus Streets
(45.351983, -122.852756). Since Christmas I have not seen it in the clump
of alders on the north side of the trail where many people got excellent
photos, but it is still in the neighborhood.
