I'm sorry to say that I didn't get a photo! Today (1/31) at around 11am, I
was birding with friends (Janet Naylor and Jennifer Haynes) at Bloomberg
Park in Eugene. We were on the powerline trail/road (there are two
different gates for this, we were at the one to the west, closer to the
park) when a Red-naped Sapsucker flew from east to west into a patch of
trees. He gave us some pretty good views, but moved on pretty quickly. I
do believe it was a male.
