I went up there many years ago. I found a road was a two-wheel track with a
high center covered with tall grass. However, there were "sneaker" rocks in
that tall grass. That made it necessary to drive at 5 mph. Covering 15
miles of road took 3 hrs.

Anyone have experience driving up Trout Creek Loop to get to Big Trout Creek
in the Trout Ck Mtns? Malheur County. Thinking about spending day there
over Mem weekend, wondering about road, might be too slick with mud and snow
this yr. not many ebird reports..
