parking, the best birding spots, cannot be reached. Walking up the beach
and crossing over the dunes is not allowed, either, north of Lot 5. For we
Lane County birders, this is a real pain.
In addition, the entire road will be repaved sometime in late October and
will be closed for a week.
Except for the yet-unscheduled one-week closure, the Dotterel Dike and
deflation plain are open near Lot 3. The beach north to the jetty is open.
