Craig Miller found a RED-THROATED PIPIT at Wickiup Reservoir in Deschutes
County. He is between the dam and the outlet with the tower, not out on the
flats. From the outlet at the dam, go west until you see a willow strip (1/2
mile to 1 mile away). Alternatively from Wickiup Junction, take Hwy 43 to
Wickiup Rd ( sign on dirt road will say Wickiup Res.) and follow it to the
dike. Park there and head over the dike -- the bird was out opposite this
point.
