Cindy Zalunardo and I had sunny skies and perfect conditions for the Powell
Butte Raptor count today. This is 46 mile route through established fields
with a few sage brush and juniper areas. Open Water on Little Houston Lake
this time. Many birds starting to fly in the thermals at about 11:30.
