I only had a couple of hours this morning before the rain moved in again.
I went to Lyon's City Park. There are a series of ponds with walking
trails around them. You can also park right by some of the ponds and
photograph or view the wildlife right out your vehicle window. This photo
collection was shot almost all out my pickup window. Great birding spot
because the wildlife are use to people being around. Also about a 50 ft.
long beaver dam. Belted Kingfisher, Ring-necked Duck diving and catching a
snail, Great Blue Heron, Northern Shovelers, Gadwalls and Hooded
Mergansers. I also have seen Wood Ducks there on past visits. Click on
