I saw two Mountain Chickadees in Roseburg last week while trying to re-find
the Roseburg-Sutherlin CBC Lark Sparrow. (I couldn't track it down).
I am buying a new, higher quality scope. I will be selling my basic Alpen
20-60 x 80 model, which is a great beginner scope, for $250. It retails new
on Amazon for $390. It also has a no questions asked lifetime warranty, and
mine was recently replaced with a brand new model as my last one was

My lightweight head is starting to wear out, and as I am getting a newer,
heavier scope, I would appreciate any suggestions for sturdier heads that
