I finally got to see one of the Mountain Chickadees that have been showing up
in western Oregon this winter - it appeared in my yard in Cannon Beach today!
It was with a mixed flock that included Chestnut-backed Chickadees,
Black-capped Chickadees, Townsend's Warbler, Dark-eyed Junco, and Ruby-crowned
Kinglet.
