I was just out in my backyard near Mingus Park in Coos Bay and heard a
Purple Martin calling overhead. Not unusual- I normally first hear them in
May though!
Was out on the north spit of Coos Bay again this morning and it was
crawling with singing and/or calling OC WARBLERS as it was yesterday
also. Many more AUDUBON'S WARBLERS singing today too. I also saw Cliff and
Barn Swallows finally. Several calling shorebirds overhead- mostly BB
Plovers and G. Yellowlegs.
