There was a huge chickadee swarm in the pines at parking lot C
this morning, at least 60, probably more. A more or less even
mix of BLACK-CAPPED and CHESTNUT-BACKED CHICKADEES. In the mix
were at least 2 (and possibly up to 5) MOUNTAIN CHICKADEES.
Also in the flock were many RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES, kinglets,
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS and a HUTTON'S VIREO.
