Most of our gulls here in the Lower Columbia Basin of southeast
Washington have moved out and we suspect they are down in the Kalama area
feeding on smelt. Be on the lookout for 1 Slaty-backed Gull, 4 Lesser
Black-backed Gulls,1 Iceland Gull(1st cycle), 2 Glaucous Gulls. 3 Thayers
Gulls and upwards of 120 Herring Gulls. Good luck in your search. We have
seen 12 species of gulls here this winter due to a large Shad kill.
