Of course there is a coastline! Haven't you ever heard of the Harney Sea? Well,
if you haven't been around since 1980, maybe not. That year Malheur Lake was
lapping nearly at the base of Wright's Point. Or, as one local farmer put it,
"When you have carp swimming in the second story of your house, you know you
are having a flood". - and he wasn't exaggerating.
