This morning at around 8am I was able to relocate all of the birds that Mark
reported yesterday along Belt's Rd. Additionally, there were 2 Vesper Sparrows.
One right at the intersection of Gap & Belts, the other maybe 300yds in (that
one was singing). Thanks for posting, Mark!

There were at least 3 GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS along Belts Rd, a few miles south of
Brownsville today. 1 was quite obliging of photographs.

I saw nor heard any Vesper Sparrows there. They have been reported back at
other mid-valley sites already so I was expecting them on Belts Rd today. I
was there about noon so maybe they just weren't up to vocalizing. In the past
the Vespers were easy to find and the Grasshoppers took some effort. Lots of
singing WESTERN MEADOWLARKS and LAZULI BUNTINGS singing there as well as 1
WESTERN KINGBIRD.
