Interesting to see Roger’s list from Big Creek today because if I remember
correctly we saw no Mew there and I know there were no Glaucous. We were there
twice; our morning list should be on eBird now.
The fly-in and out from beach gullwads is constant.
We saw the flock of gulls offshore at Klootchman but they were too far out to
sort except by general size.

This morning I found seven species of gulls in the flock at the mouth of Big
Creek including a first year GLAUCOUS GULL. Most were Western and
Glaucous-winged along with several Mew and California and a few Herring and
Iceland (Thayers). At Tokatee Klootchman there were at least two
BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKES in a large flock of gulls feeding offshore. The
reliable AMERICAN DIPPER was along Cape Creek east of Devils Elbow.
