This morning I found seven species of gulls in the flock at the mouth of Big
Creek including a first year GLAUCOUS GULL. Most were Western and
Glaucous-winged along with several Mew and California and a few Herring and
Iceland (Thayers). At Tokatee Klootchman there were at least two
BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKES in a large flock of gulls feeding offshore. The
reliable AMERICAN DIPPER was along Cape Creek east of Devils Elbow.
