Congratulations to Russ for finding the 1st Great-tailed Grackles in Josephine
County. To my knowledge, none have been reported previously. Thanks for
calling me Russ. Arrived at the treatment ponds about 2:30 pm and found Bob
Wohlers there, checking off the Grackle. Then, we observed 2 males and a
female. The one male was "billing," and the female was doing what appeared to
be a mating display. So, might be they are going to stick around and nest.
