Hi all,
OK, it's been a long time since I consistently saw Orchard Orioles back in
Nebraska, but what strikes me about the pictures that both Dave Irons and Andy
Frank posted is that the bird is not the right shade at all for what I remember
in immature male Orchard. Even in Andy's picture, which is greener than
Dave's, the green does not seem right.
Take that with a lot of salt but Orchards are one of favorites, so I always
lingered on them a lot, including some in-hand banding experience
