Suggesting that we support local bookstores is just that, merely a suggestion.
Hardly a political take. Having worked directly with local bookstore owners in
the promotion of my own book, I can wholeheartedly endorse supporting them.
Poking around small local bookstores is like birding your local patch. You
never know what treasure you will find. Discovering a rare volume in the local
bookstore is sort of like finding a good bird in your yard or neighborhood. It
always brings a measure of pleasure that you just can’t get at a big box
bookstore, a major birding hotspot, shopping online, or chasing rarities that
someone else found.

I just found what I thought was a good book for birders. Not promoting Amazon,
it's your choice where you buy it. Everything seems to turn political on
postings. Jim.

It can also be ordered through you local independent book store for those few
of you that don't feel the need to support the world's wealthiest person.

I recently bought "American Museum of Natural History Birds of North America."
This book would be great for home use or kept in a vehicle. Large textbook with
illustrations and photos and large print. Over 750 pages. I found it on Amazon
for only $19.20. I am including a link to Amazon. Jim.
