I located 9 Elegant Terns within about 5 minutes of my arrival this morning at 7:05 AM. Some were on top of he jetty, but most were part way down the side of the rock jetty on the far side of the harbor entrance. They were mixed in with Heerman's Gulls and were busily preening and some resting.
