The wintering juncos began trying out all kinds of sounds today in sunny and
warmish Eugene, mixing short bits of their usual trill with variations that
sounded like American Goldfinch and Pine Siskin. Quite the cackle.
Bewick’s Wren seems to be getting warmed up and one Golden-crowned Sparrow gave
it a try.
