Today, temps 41 to start, 54 at finish, in 5.1 hours and 72.9 miles.
Calving has begun, mostly sttended by big flocks of BB Magpies. I saw a
lot of empty raptor nests, none looked occupied. I was counting Say's
Phoebes until i got to 5 and realized they were more numerous.
Total raptor count 22 birds as follows, disappointing but not the worst
count like Kevin Smith had.

1 unknown ID Eagle
2 Prairie Falcons.
