All made star appearances late Monday afternoon. The Dicksissel and
Harris's Sparrow were at the seed station in the side yard of the old house
on Boquist Road. The Dicksissel was particularly cooperative in providing
good looks. The Cattle Egret (I only saw one, but the other might have been
in a hollow) was with about 18 Great Egrets in a field a couple blocks
north on Squeedunk Road, on the east side of the road. Backup appearances
at the bridge seed site by a feisty group of Swamp, Lincoln's and Savannah
sparrows and a curious Marsh Wren.
