Hi Bill,
I don't normally, but I did see one just today flycatching repeatedly from
the top of an oak tree. It caught my attention as well. Maybe it's spring
behavior.
Happy migration!

OBOL,
Has anyone ever seen Oregon Junco flycatching?
I'm pretty certain that's what I was seeing Saturday afternoon here in
Beavercreek, OR. The behavior caught my eye while I was doing other things.
It was repeated by more than one Junco. I grabbed the bins and expected to
see a warbler or something. They flew and returned to both a mountain ash
and and apple tree over and over. I never could ID a prey item though.
Also, on the apple tree, some were working at tearing up moss clumps.
