I started early walking neighborhoods in Brookings near library. Nothing
rare but three OC Warblers, a Palm, and a N Mocker in apple tree on Cushing
Ct. Also 40+ C Waxwings.
I then went one mile up Winchuck to ranch barns and found 2 Say’s Phoebes.
From there over to Ocean View Drive where there was another Say’s behind
Strahm storage.
I headed back north and stopped at blue silos on way into Floras Lake and
saw a Say’s and two Palm Warblers.
Last stop Bethel Mtn quarry in SW Coos where I saw my last Say’s of the
day.
Gorgeous day- 63F up Bethel Mtn was hotspot!
