I agree that the amount of orange showing on the corners of the tail looks much 
more suggestive of a Baltimore Oriole than a Scott's Oriole.  I just looked at 
a series of male Scott's Orioles online and none of them seem to have as much 
orange showing on the tail as this bird shows.

What makes this a Scott's Oriole, not a Baltimore? It looks more like the 
latter to me.
