MTN. CHICKADEES:
one still coming to Jamie Fereday's feeder in North Bend as of today, he
has had up to three- which were the ones reported on the Coos Bay CBC.
Barb Griffin had one at her feeders in North Bend on 6 January.
I haven't seen or heard any since November around town.
Terry Wahl reports that two SNOW GEESE are still on the family ranch near
Cape Blanco. Also he has a NORTHERN SHRIKE and a HARRIS'S SPARROW
continuing there. No Say's Phoebes though.
Don Munson reports an overwintering SAY'S PHOEBE on Ocean View Drive
(Harbor area- south end of Brookings). It is near the red storage building
there where they have overwintered several years.
No luck with the Coos Bay Summer Tanager returning to Bob Fields feeders in
Coos Bay. It was there New Year's Eve and New year's day then disappeared.
