Today at Coos Bay North Spit Coos Cty we found about 65 SNOWY PLOVERS on
South Beach. The SNOW BUNTING was on the plover nesting area, and
there were several large flocks of peeps, mostly LEAST SANDPIPERs,
probably 500 or so, with WESTERN SANDPIPERS mixed in by the handful, and
at least 80 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS. There were two PEREGRINE FALCONS on
the beach.
At Tenmile estuary in north Coos Cty there was an OSPREY, and there were
another 71 SNOWY PLOVERS.
Cheers
