The LONG-BILLED CURLEW was along the ocean front near Johnson Creek yesterday and a bit further south today, Bandon, Coos Cty.
We had a WESTERN SCREECH OWL singing from the creek behind our house a couple evenings ago. They are not very common in our neighborhood.
We had a yellow flagged WESTERN SANDPIPER at Coos Bay North Spit yesterday, amongst the nice numbers of shorebirds we've been seeing.
