Made a brief stop at Cold Springs Camp Grounds and Sister’s Ranger Station on
my way to Sunriver: Some water coming out of the springs. A Northern Pygmy-Owl,
Williamson’s Sapsucker, Pacific Wren near the springs. After the owl flew, it
was mobbed by about 15 Rubby-crowned Kinglets. The Sister’s Ranger Station
yielded Pygmy and White-breasted Nuthatches, Mountain Chickadees, A. Robins.
They provide water and limited feeder food. Spent about an half hour at each
location.
